Androscoggin Bank Named Trinity Jubilee Center’s 2024 Corporate Partner of the Year

Androscoggin Bank is deeply honored to be recognized by Trinity Jubilee Center as their 2024 Corporate Partner of the Year. Trinity Jubilee Center is a Lewiston-based non-profit organization that offers meals, clothing, groceries, job assistance, medical care, and a day shelter.

This recognition highlights a partnership that extends far beyond financial contributions. While our three-year, $50,000 contribution to their capital campaign plays a critical role in their expansion plans, what truly sets our relationship apart is the ongoing, hands-on support and genuine collaboration between our organizations. We believe in being present for our partners, not only through donations but by offering time, resources, and expertise where it’s needed most.

Our relationship with Trinity Jubilee Center has grown over the years into something meaningful and dynamic. Whether it’s our Community Banker, Mohamed Mohamed, stepping in to provide translation services, or our IT staff helping to troubleshoot the Center’s computer, we are proud of the way our employees have rallied around the cause. On several occasions, a team of Androscoggin Bank employees including Steve Davis, David Smirles and others, have shown up for Trinity on short notice to move and organize shipments of up to 4,000 pounds of food into their facility. We even donated our old portable tent to support their food distribution and community events.

Beyond providing manpower and supplies, our support has also extended to facilitating important connections that help Trinity grow. For example, at our annual meeting we helped forge a relationship between Trinity and L.L. Bean. This introduction exemplifies how our involvement is not just about financial contributions but also about leveraging our network to help Trinity expand its reach and impact.

Nonetheless, the heart of our partnership lies in shared values. Trinity’s mission of addressing the unmet needs of Lewiston and Auburn’s most underserved groups perfectly aligns with our own commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive community. This award is a reflection of the genuine bond that has developed between our teams, grounded in mutual respect and a shared dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of local residents.

As we look ahead, we are excited to continue supporting Trinity’s mission, knowing that together, we are helping build a brighter, more empowered Lewiston.
