Each year, the MainStreet Foundation donates $25,000 to one local non-profit that benefits at-risk youth in Maine by focus on providing life essentials: food, shelter, and security. After applications are submitted, the Board meets and selects three finalists to make a presentation. From the finalists, one organization receives the special $25,000 award.
Applications are accepted from May 1st until July 31st. Once all applications are reviewed by our Board, three finalists are chosen. Each finalist will be invited to present in person at the October Board meeting. The winner of the $25,000 award will be selected from the finalists and notified in November.
