Androscoggin Bank helps fund organizations that support our communities. BankonCommunity.com is the place to go for non-profits seeking funding for community-based programs. Here you’ll find all necessary information about our community-giving programs and initiatives, guidelines and criteria. It’s our goal to foster innovative relationships with organizations that make a difference in our lives, our community and our state.

BankonCommunity Overview

Androscoggin Bank has a proud legacy as a financial partner and resource to the community. For its entire 140 years, the bank has been a steadfast community resource supporting hundreds of organizations, funding new initiatives, and responding to urgent needs in the community. The result is a positive change and improved quality of life for us all. 
 
We offer grants to a wide range of organizations, giving a total of $40,000 throughout the year. Our grants can be used for operating costs or any other costs associated with running your organization.

We give grants in the following amounts on a bi-annual basis. Each of two rounds will award the following:

(2)   $5,000 award  = $10,000 per year
(8)   $2,500 awards = $20,000 per year 
(10)  $1,000 awards = $10,000 per year
Total = $40,000 per year
